The Details: There’s a spectacular week full of free, family activities to celebrate America’s birthday.
Kick off the week with the SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch on Sunday, July 1, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. along Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Riverwalk. Listen to the soulful sounds of the area’s best local jazz artists on three different stages. With plenty of room to set up chairs, blankets and picnic baskets, everyone is welcome to attend including well-behaved, leashed pets.
On Wednesday, continue the celebration on Fort Lauderdale Beach with the Fourth of July Spectacular! As the sun goes down, watch the sky light up with the City’s annual fireworks show on July 4th at 9:00 p.m. off A1A and Las Olas Boulevard. Don’t miss this dazzling pyrotechnic display!
Finish off the holiday week with the 35th Annual Bank of America Starlight Musicals on Friday, July 6th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Holiday Park, located at 1300 E. Sunrise Boulevard. Bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and family and friends to the park for live entertainment under the stars.
