Spring on in to the Museum of Discovery and Science for Babies, Blooms & Butterflies! Learn about the beautiful flowers that make the air smell sweet, discover which arthropods help to pollinate crops and flowers, and even get the opportunity to release a butterfly! Join the Easter Bunny for a special egg hunt!
Easter Egg Challenge – 1:00 p.m. (children ages 6 and younger) & 3:00 p.m. (ages 7-12) – Explore the Museum’s backyard and collect “egg”-cellent orbs to complete our fun twist on an Easter Egg Hunt. The clues you collect along the way will require discovery to get to the finish!
Fuzzy, Feathery, Fantastic Farm Friends – 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. – With the new spring season comes new life! Celebrate spring and meet some adorable farm animals from Critter Caravan.
Butterfly Release – 2:30 p.m. – Learn all about the short but amazing life of a butterfly during this exciting program, then release your own butterfly into the wild.
Reptile Roundup – 4:30 p.m. – Join a museum herpetologist and meet some of our amazing reptiles while learning about how nests are created, eggs are laid and how young are raised.
